In the years before the start of ECOMBI BV, we have used the knowlegde of our agricultural background and included this into a study Chemistry and Processtechnic. This resulted in developments that have less negative effects on the environment and open financial/economic opportunities for people.

In Dutch and International Companies we have contributed in the developments for waterborne systems for coatings, printing inks and adhesives in which the main driver always have been to use less or no fossil solvents anymore.

Through the private intiative Stichting Afrika 2007 Zwolle many support projects have been executed in Sub Saharan African countries like South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Rwanda. Our agricultural background has proven to be very beneficial to this charity projects, that were mainly focussed on
less water consumtion and the use of solar technics like solar waterpumps in combination with dripline technology and solar hot water geysers.

Since 2020 we are involved in a couple of commersial developments in Africa and in the Netherlands. And this has resulted in the start of ECOMBI BV in 2023.

2020 – now Develop ways to use organic rest streams into valuable raw materials like Biochar or Pyrolyses oil, which can be used as building blocks in a circulair process.

2021-2222 Introduction of semi industrial Pyrolyses installations for waste plastics and for organic reststreams in South Africa.

2023- Instalation of the first Plastics as well as the first Biochar installation in South Africa.
